Under the shower water and the sea alike

In the car when the moon is following you

At the cafe table under the sun, before the first sip, and after

In the body following the arrival of the music’s vibration

In the grace after an exhale and release of the shoulders

On the escalator carrying you up from down

On the train

On the plane

In the closeness to the clouds 

In the mercy that is gifted  

In the rippling stillness after a prayer

In the conscious action toward a desire

In the present when the future is blind and the past is forgotten

In the embrace that is safe

In the breath between words spoken

In the silver that holds the finger

In the knowing that one can never count the grains of sand

In the perfectly spiraled seashells that are free of human touch

In the room where two or more are gathered

The intention to welcome all that is to come 

The art
